Roman just got busted coloring his face up with a marker he got away from his sister.....once I saw him I laughed...it must have eased his mind that he wasn't in too much trouble!!!!!

meanwhile...Sailor slept peacefully in the back seat! (sorry for the not so clear pics...guess thats what you get bouncing down the interstate at 70)

can you even believe her? Me either.....this little honey is about the cutest thing I have seen in a LONG time...ya know other than my own beautiful babes...I had so much fun with her today....does she not look like she just stepped out of a magazine? SERIOUSLY...too cute..!!!!!!

On Monday, Kalista turned 8!!!!!! On the 29th of next month Aiyana will turn 9....until then....I have TWO EIGHT YEAR OLDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! does that mean I am old?

I have way bigger fish to fry at this point....A LOT has been going on in my world...many, many awesome things......for now....the heaviness.....most of you may not know that I live communally....or should I say in community....my family of seven lives with another family of four, and a few single people....we also have a few homeless people (well, not currently homeless...since they are here...) ....that live in our garage....anyway...things for us have been very busy to say the least....God keeps bringing people into our lives and to our door....drunks....addicts....homeless.....BROKEN.........we live to serve Christ...and we are desperate to care for the broken people....I don't know that we quite knew what that meant...Joe and I have worked with at-risk teens for many years (like ten)...so we have had a major glimpse into some seriously bad situations.....little did we know we hadn't seen anything..yet...

until now.

our door keeps knocking...when we open it...we are met with.....

VERY BROKEN PEOPLE......

the most recent was right before I started writing this...a woman came here.....she was crying...I starting talking to her.....three or so hours later....I learned way more than I know how to cope with....thankfully Christ's strength is made perfect in my weakness.....how do I as a Christian woman help someone who had been raped and molested from 9-12 years old by her father AND uncle....that went to church...? What do you say about Christ to that person....how do you explain why "Christian" men have slept with her on her quest for true LOVE...? I suppose you say nothing...I just listened....and cried...many tears.....and I am sitting here telling you that we need help....we need people that will cry out to God on our behalf..pray that he will send workers ...the harvest here is so plentiful.....there are so few of us....pray that He will be our provider....pray over our marriages...and our children for protection...pray that we would be wise and discerning....pray that we would not weary and that our faith would be fresh every minute of every day.......
